Active Movement Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in North Port, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical therapy needs and develop customized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines.
• Engage in peer-to-peer consultations with fellow therapists to ensure conformity with best practices and clinical appropriateness before referrals are submitted to the Medical Director.
• Utilize standardized test assessments and review patients' diagnosis, evaluations, and progress notes to clinically review requests for therapy services.
• Determine the medical necessity of services and the appropriateness of the treatment plan regarding modality, length, intensity, and frequency of therapy.
• Document clinical findings and decisions effectively while identifying trends and educational opportunities for providers demonstrating repeated patterns.
• Maintain compliance with all personnel policies and procedures to ensure quality and safety for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including those with physical injuries, neurological conditions, developmental disabilities, and psychosocial dysfunctions. Our focus on home care enables us to address unique patient circumstances in the most supportive environment possible, facilitating deeper connections and more effective therapy outcomes tailored for both pediatric and adult patients.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge and competence in human anatomy and physiology, including familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques.
• Adeptness with outpatient and acute care settings, ensuring evidence-based practices in treatment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working effectively with pediatric patients in a clinical or home care environment.
• Proven ability to navigate both clinic and hospital settings, with competence in providing inpatient care.
• Knowledge of hospital medicine practices and protocols, enhancing your adaptability within varied healthcare ecosystems.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. Benefits include:
