Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health requirements of patients and formulate effective treatment plans accordingly.

• Deliver short-term, evidence-based individual counseling and crisis intervention services to patients dealing with a spectrum of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Lead therapeutic group sessions and workshops focusing on vital themes such as stress management, emotional resilience, and life skills development.

• Collaborate closely with hospital departments, including medical teams and patient support services, to assure a cohesive approach to overall patient care.

• Initiate outreach initiatives that raise awareness about mental health issues and promote community wellness through events and campaigns.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

In this role, you will primarily focus on patients who are experiencing varying degrees of mental health issues, many of whom are navigating challenges associated with their medical conditions. Qualifications\n

• A current state license in one of the following areas: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
