Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique mental health needs.

• Deliver psychotherapy sessions using a range of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Document session notes and treatment outcomes meticulously to ensure compliance with therapy protocols and client needs.

• Engage in regular supervision and peer discussions to enhance your therapeutic skills and contribute to team cohesion.

• Collaborate with educational institutions and community organizations to provide therapy sessions funded by schools, allowing increased focus on client care without insurance billing complexities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Phoenix Rising Counseling Center, you will primarily work with adolescents and adults experiencing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and emotional distress. Your therapeutic interventions will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their challenges and achieve personal growth and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s level degree from a regionally accredited university in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted professional license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, PhD, etc.) to practice mental health therapy independently.

• A proven track record of at least two years in providing clinical psychotherapy in a variety of settings.
\n
• The ability to conduct effective intake assessments and develop comprehensive diagnoses and treatment plans for clients.

• Strong writing skills to ensure thorough documentation that meets clinical and legal standards.
\n
• Maintaining a clean record with no disciplinary actions by any licensing board.

• Licensed to practice in Oregon.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
