Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' backgrounds and trauma histories, ensuring tailored treatment approaches.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health wellness.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage clients to process trauma, learn effective coping strategies, and foster personal growth.
• Collaborate extensively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated care approach for patients, addressing their multifaceted needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and emotional stability.
• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses and available resources, empowering them to engage actively in their recovery journeys.
• Maintain accurate and secure documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards to uphold patient confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care, staying current with the latest research and therapeutic best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have encountered varying degrees of trauma, particularly those grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clinicians adopt a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the significance of addressing both mental and emotional health concerns. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor in all client interactions.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications relevant to client management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on trauma-informed care is preferred.
• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and demonstrating effective outcomes in therapy sessions.
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, utilizing problem-solving skills and therapeutic techniques effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
