Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at A Better You, you will work with a diverse population, addressing a range of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, and other emotional and psychological concerns. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and therapeutic approaches are tailored to meet their individual needs, ensuring effective and compassionate care.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and valid state license as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD .

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is highly preferred.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients.

• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients are essential.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote workspace.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in a therapeutic setting with a focus on trauma-informed care is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits\n
