Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screenings and evaluations of patients to determine their specific physical therapy needs, utilizing your expert knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations and physician orders, focusing on measurable goals for patient progress.
• Provide direct therapy interventions, utilizing methods such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education, to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress according to facility requirements, ensuring compliance with departmental documentation standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information, upholding professional and ethical standards at all times.
• Oversee and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants and rehabilitation aides, ensuring effective delivery of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to share clinical findings and collaborate with other team members for holistic patient management.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and continuing education programs relevant to physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Rehabilitation Center caters to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist, you will develop and execute treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient, fostering a therapeutic relationship that encourages trust and motivation for recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current and valid Florida State License as a Physical Therapist.
• Current CPR certification and compliance with health screenings (physical and PPD).
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience within a rehabilitation or acute care setting is preferred, showcasing your capacity to handle a variety of patient cases effectively.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems to facilitate accurate documentation.

• Competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
