Key Responsibilities\n

• Administer mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to individual client needs for stress alleviation and improved emotional regulation.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand and identify clients' unique challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals, facilitating customized treatment plans.
\n
• Lead clients through various mindfulness exercises, meditation techniques, and breathing exercises, helping them cultivate deeper self-awareness and resilience in navigating life’s challenges.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness and stress management, encouraging community support and shared learning among participants.
\n
• Integrate mindfulness practices into one-on-one therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health issues while promoting general well-being and coping strategies.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare practitioners to weave mindfulness into a broader treatment framework, ensuring comprehensive client care.

• Document client progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records of mindfulness techniques used and their effects on client mental health.

• Commit to ongoing personal mindfulness practice accompanied by continuous professional development in mindfulness-based techniques to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population including adults, young adults, and adolescents seeking to improve their mental health. Clients come to us seeking assistance for a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship challenges. Your skills in mindfulness and emotional intelligence will be crucial in creating a safe atmosphere where clients can openly explore their feelings and begin their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is mandatory to practice in Texas.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness techniques into treatment is preferred, although some prior experience or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) can be beneficial.

• Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for creating an empathetic and calming therapeutic environment that fosters client trust.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
