Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations through telehealth sessions, documenting case histories from the first client interaction through to the conclusion of therapy.

• Create personalized treatment and intervention plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to enhance client engagement and promote healing.
\n
• Monitor and assess clients' progress throughout their treatment journeys, adjusting plans as necessary based on measurable outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate comprehensive client care.

• Engage in follow-up communication with psychiatric professionals for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these issues, supporting clients in overcoming challenges.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing behavioral health challenges associated with their loved ones.

Our client base consists of diverse individuals facing various mental and emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Empathy and strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective counseling practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating clinical effectiveness and proficiency in therapy techniques.

• Experience with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong understanding of co-occurring disorders and experience in implementing interventions for addiction and mental health issues.

• In-depth knowledge of psychotropic medications prescribed by medical specialists and their implications on mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position includes an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, coupled with a sign-on bonus.
