Willow Garden Counseling Center is currently seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to enhance our dedicated team. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining a connection to our team and clients. Collaborating with professionals from diverse backgrounds, you will engage with fellow mental health therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff, ensuring integrated care for our clients. Aside from traditional office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility will be required to accommodate the scheduling needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, guiding treatment planning.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that aim to facilitate trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental wellness.
\n
• Utilize research-supported therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group settings.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions where clients can collaboratively process trauma, share experiences, and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to maintain continuity of care; coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to support the ongoing needs of clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention when required; support patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available local resources, enhancing community support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with applicable legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and meetings, focusing on continuous professional development and best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about advancements in trauma therapy and actively apply new knowledge and techniques to your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Willow Garden Counseling Center, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma. Our clients often deal with PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health challenges. Navigating their healing journey requires a deep understanding of trauma responses and an empathetic approach to therapy. Your skill set will facilitate healing, empowering clients to reclaim their narratives and navigate their paths to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in settings focused on trauma and mental health challenges.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
