This is a remote position within an outpatient setting, allowing for flexible scheduling options to help our counselors maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and create individualized therapy plans based on each client’s unique needs and goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, as well as offer counseling to families and couples, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients, addressing all aspects of their well-being.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
\n
• Participate actively in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a broad clientele, including individuals and families who often face barriers to accessing mental health care. As part of your role, you will be instrumental in addressing a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship dynamics, providing support and strategies to enhance emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling or mental health setting is required.

• Strong understanding of applicable legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
