Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while utilizing teletherapy tools and platforms to connect with clients. While the role is primarily remote, you will also collaborate within our outpatient office environment, engaging with other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new clients and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs and goals.

• Provide individual, couples, and family counseling with an emphasis on evidence-based therapies suited to address diverse mental health issues.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions, progress, and therapeutic interventions using our designated practice management software.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with coworkers, including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to optimize treatment strategies.

• Uphold strict confidentiality protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations and best practices within the counseling profession.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a diverse client population encompassing various age groups and backgrounds, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other behavioral health concerns. Your role will be integral in guiding clients through difficult times and helping them develop coping strategies to facilitate positive change.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience, particularly in an outpatient setting.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients through excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in utilizing technology for teletherapy sessions and electronic record-keeping.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with a wide range of issues including substance abuse, PTSD, or family therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
