Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care within a supportive environment that champions best practices and exceptional customer service. Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term objectives.
• Apply clinical expertise to assign patient care based on acuity and technical needs, continuously enhancing skills through evidence-based practice.
• Deliver outstanding guest relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues, embodying core values such as respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and courage.
• Communicate proactively to manage expectations and foster positive relationships across departments and with the community.
• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment by adhering to noise reduction protocols, privacy standards, and supporting healthcare students.
• Promote patient and workplace safety by reporting incidents, following Just Culture principles, HIPAA, and national safety standards.
• Engage in professional growth through leadership opportunities, certifications, advanced education, and shared governance.
• Foster teamwork by motivating and mentoring colleagues, encouraging cooperation, and building trust.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty credentials.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.

This position offers part-time day shifts totaling 24 hours weekly in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
