Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms through structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals and preferences, utilizing a client-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address the unique challenges faced by clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, employing outcome measures to gauge effectiveness and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, ensuring integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay informed of the latest research and developments in the field of mental health, integrating new findings into treatment practices.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, which includes those diagnosed with depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder. As a therapist, you will interact with clients from various backgrounds and circumstances, each with unique stories and challenges. Your relational skills and therapeutic expertise will play a pivotal role in helping them navigate their mental health struggles and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist within the state of Washington.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the collaborative skills necessary to work closely with psychiatrists and other professionals.

• A proven track record of delivering effective therapeutic outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication abilities, with a talent for establishing rapport with clients from varying cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
