Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess clients’ mental health status through comprehensive evaluations during initial sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with individuals experiencing various challenges, including but not limited to substance use disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and stress-related concerns. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and individual and group therapy facilitation.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health records and telehealth platforms for managing client information and conducting sessions.

• Possess crisis intervention skills, ensuring the capacity to handle emergencies and challenging situations in a calm and effective manner.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in telehealth counseling practices, as well as those with training in trauma-informed care, will be favored. Familiarity with evidence-based frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is also advantageous. Additionally, proficiency in providing therapy in bilingual contexts is viewed as a strong asset.
