Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake interviews and comprehensive assessments to gather psycho-social data from clients and relevant stakeholders, ensuring a thorough understanding of each individual’s situation and needs.

• Maintain organized and confidential program files in accordance with established guidelines and WAC, ensuring compliance and readiness for any audits or reviews.
\n
• Collaboratively develop and implement personalized crisis and treatment plans, utilizing client feedback to build on their strengths and foster resilience.

• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations with psychiatric providers and other healthcare professionals, enhancing the collaborative nature of client care.

• Offer appropriate referrals and resources to clients when their needs extend beyond the scope of the LMHC’s practice, reinforcing a holistic approach to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position predominantly involves working with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our client base is diverse, comprising adolescents, adults, and families, with a particular emphasis on providing effective support to those dealing with substance use issues. Counselors will utilize evidence-based practices that align with the current best practices to enhance client outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• Current valid full license from the Washington State Department of Health at the time of hire.
\n
• Residing in Washington State is mandatory for this position.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, with at least one year of experience working specifically in settings treating substance use disorders.

• Training or experience in integrated healthcare settings, particularly those that include primary care services.
\n
• Experience in family therapy and specialized training for working with families experiencing substance use disorders.
\n
• Specialized training in trauma-informed care approaches is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
