Lead Software Engineer - Privileged Access Management

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus at least 5 years of applied experience in privileged access management, using tools such as HashiCorp, CyberArk, or BeyondTrust.
• Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability, including work on at least one public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in a scripting language such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, testing, or troubleshooting, and setting expectations for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and security and resiliency expectations; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
• Proficiency across the software development life cycle and advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• In-depth knowledge of financial services and its IT systems, along with practical cloud-native experience.
• Hands-on experience in a security domain such as infrastructure, network, or application security; expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture; and experience with container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevOps and experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Maven, Git, and Bitbucket; familiarity with MQ, web services, REST, XML, and JSON.
• Exposure to languages and frameworks such as Golang, Java, Spring Boot, React, or Kafka; SIEM tools such as QRadar or Splunk; and LDAP, Active Directory, or ADFS.
• AWS certifications are preferred.

• Develop creative software solutions, design systems, and troubleshoot technical issues using approaches that go beyond routine solutions.
• Build secure, high-quality production code; review and debug code written by others.
• Promote enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes, while setting consistent standards for secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and reuse of effective patterns.
• Use software development life cycle tools, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value delivered through automation.
• Identify opportunities to prevent or automate remediation of recurring issues and improve application and system stability.
• Lead evaluations with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical capabilities, and suitability for existing systems and information architecture.
• Design and develop privileged access management solutions that strengthen organizational security and align with identity governance, administration, and access management standards.
• Deploy and coordinate security solutions, provide level-three support for day-to-day issues, and offer technical leadership and expertise to vendors, suppliers, and end users.
• Work with stakeholders to identify suitable solutions, conduct proofs of concept for new integrations, obtain stakeholder approval, and guide testing of new functionality.
• Prepare technical documentation for production support teams and serve as the point of contact for new implementations.
• Analyze business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams from design through implementation and ongoing support.
