Make a meaningful impact supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year by providing dedicated occupational therapy services. This contract position is designed for motivated professionals eager to collaborate across multiple school sites, offering support to IU classrooms as well as Autistic Support and Multiple Disabilities Support (MDS) programs. With a three-day-per-week schedule, you’ll serve educational sites in Pittston, Wyoming Valley West, and Hanover—contributing your expertise to help students develop essential life and learning skills.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Pennsylvania
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting is highly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including those with autism and multiple disabilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible, organized, and adaptive to different environments and caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for OT services
• Design and deliver targeted therapeutic interventions to promote academic and functional independence
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to ensure holistic support for each child
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and input as needed
• Travel between assigned school sites efficiently within Pittston, Wyoming Valley West, and Hanover areas
