Great Marshall Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Long Beach, California. Great Marshall Physical Therapy & Wellness Center specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation and is committed to delivering personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs. Our skilled team consists of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), who collaborate to ensure optimal patient recovery experiences.

Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in a dynamic rehabilitation center that emphasizes a proactive, patient-centered approach. You will benefit from a collaborative work culture that cherishes teamwork and open communication. The work schedule is structured for Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address individual patient needs and goals.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and efficient care delivery.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specialized techniques to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly using our EMR software, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate records and communicate treatment progress effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and allied health professionals, to optimize patient outcomes and ensure coordinated care.
• Educate and empower patients about their injuries, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on assessments and feedback.
• Encourage a proactive approach to health by promoting lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic concerns, including those recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Many of our clients are covered by private medical insurance, allowing for a more personalized and comprehensive approach to treatment. As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will address a diverse range of cases and assist patients in different stages of rehabilitation, fostering their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with a clean record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Competence in using EMR software, preferably WebPT, to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing individualized exercise regimens that promote patient rehabilitation.
• Experience in motivating patients and fostering adherence to prescribed activities and exercises.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
