We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice located in the vibrant community of Long Beach, California. Work Environment

Our practice operates onsite, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where teamwork is encouraged. Alongside two experienced physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will be part of a dynamic environment that thrives on mutual support and continuous improvement. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent routine for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities, needs, and goals in a clinical setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques to optimize recovery and enhance mobility.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, providing personalized care to one patient per hour.
• Integrate manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises into treatment strategies to maximize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress thoroughly in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring clear communication and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust treatment protocols based on patients' progress and feedback, keeping open lines of communication with them throughout their journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and address any ancillary needs of the patients.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and ways to prevent future injuries, fostering their independence and motivation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation following injuries or surgeries. We focus on delivering tailored interventions that address specific musculoskeletal issues, emphasizing recovery and prevention. As a Physical Therapist here, you'll form meaningful relationships with your patients, empowering them through their rehabilitation journeys and enabling them to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, without any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise regimens that are suitable for a diverse patient demographic.
• Experience working with electronic medical record systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in treating a wide range of conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Skills in developing innovative treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and lifestyles.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between $100,000 and $120,000, reflecting your expertise and commitment to patient care.
