Moon Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our thriving team in beautiful Long Beach, California. Work Environment

As an onsite team member, you will be working closely with two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) in an environment that fosters collaboration and support. Our schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. In this friendly and professional setting, you will engage with patients of diverse backgrounds and rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to identify patient needs and set clear treatment goals within a healthcare context.
• Manage caseload efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour, to ensure personalized attention and care.
• Utilize a broad range of therapeutic techniques, developing customized care plans tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' mobility and functional abilities, minimizing reliance on medications and surgical options.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Provide motivation and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging a proactive approach to their recovery.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatment protocols for compliance and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices among patients focused on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters primarily to patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, injuries, and surgeries, often arising from sports and daily activities. You will work with a diverse range of clients, understanding their unique challenges and rehabilitation goals, which encompasses everything from joint injuries to post-operative recovery protocols.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California.
• Untarnished professional standing, free of board actions or disciplinary incidents.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong aptitude for developing effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A background in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable, providing insight into patient management and treatment planning.
• Proven track record of delivering quality physical therapy services with positive patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits
