Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions and develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities to optimize recovery and enhance mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, body mechanics, and maintenance strategies to prevent further injury.
• Implement post-surgical rehabilitation programs tailored for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Engage in regular collaboration with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient care strategies, ensuring the highest quality of treatment.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices in orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients dealing with orthopedic injuries, surgical recoveries, and conditions related to musculoskeletal health. You will work closely with individuals of various ages, from young athletes to older adults, each requiring unique approaches to ensure their recovery and rehabilitation goals are met effectively.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution—preferably a Doctorate or Master's degree.
• An active California Physical Therapist license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster a collaborative environment with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have:

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation settings.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
