Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our Long Beach facility, where teamwork and collaboration are key elements of our approach. You will work directly with two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. Our practice operates from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals.
• Manage a consistent patient load, ensuring that you efficiently handle one patient per hour while providing optimal care and attention.
• Utilize a variety of treatment methodologies, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities to enhance the patient's recovery process.
• Educate patients on their conditions and the recovery process, motivating them to adhere to their treatment plans and stay engaged in their rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to provide integrated care solutions that address the whole person's needs.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on treating patients with various orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. As part of our approach, you will create tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in patients, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and custom exercise program development.
• Experience using EMR software platforms, such as WebPT, to maintain patient records and track progress.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
