Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility promotes teamwork and collaboration. You will be part of a close-knit group consisting of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all devoted to providing personalized care. With a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, our therapists work in a supportive environment focused on professional development, continuous learning, and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs by identifying goals and requirements within a clinical setting, ensuring customized care is delivered effectively.
• Manage a focused caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives undivided attention and high-quality treatment.
• Deliver evidence-based care using a comprehensive range of treatment techniques that enhance client mobility and overall quality of life.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that include tailored fitness and wellness programs based on individual patient assessments.
• Minimize reliance on medication and provide alternative strategies to avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering greater functional independence and self-management of health.
• Document all treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in detail to ensure continuity of care and compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with medical professionals and other specialists to coordinate care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effects and modify care approaches based on patient progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse clientele, including those recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical interventions, and chronic pain syndromes. Our focus is on helping individuals regain their strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall functional abilities, allowing them to return to their daily activities and sports.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with applicable clinical experience.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures associated with your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise regimens for a variety of conditions.
• Familiarity with EMR software platforms, particularly WebPT, is preferred for efficient documentation and management of patient records.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a solid track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Experience with advanced rehabilitation techniques, including but not limited to aquatic therapy, functional movement training, and sports performance enhancements.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment, contributing to multidisciplinary care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
