Our facility spans an impressive 5000 square feet, outfitted with the latest sports medicine technology to support our patient-centered approach. Our dedicated staff comprises experienced physical therapists and a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional care. With a focus on improving movement capabilities and promoting wellness, we primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring a personal and effective treatment experience.

Work Environment

The role is based onsite within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Long Beach, California, known for its vibrant community and coastal beauty. Our facility is designed to foster an encouraging atmosphere where patients feel empowered on their path to recovery. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine patient needs and establish treatment goals.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring each receives undivided attention and high-quality care.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Administer targeted therapies aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion, strength, and mobility while minimizing reliance on medication.
• Craft personalized fitness and wellness programs that encourage a healthy lifestyle and physical activity among patients.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on observed outcomes and patient feedback.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatments using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide emotional support, motivation, and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Stay updated with current best practices in physical therapy to contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in California, with no history of board or disciplinary actions.

• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, for patient documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill set.
