Work Environment

As a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist at our home care facility, you will be working onsite alongside a team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our practice primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, allowing for a dedicated and comprehensive approach to rehabilitative care. The work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address the individual needs and objectives of patients.
• Manage a patient load efficiently, maintaining a standard of one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention and care.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques to promote healing and enhance mobility.
• Implement evidence-based treatments that minimize reliance on medications and provide alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress notes in a timely and thorough manner to comply with healthcare regulations.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive environment to enhance overall engagement and recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists to optimize patient care and improve results.
• Continuously assess treatment efficacy and adjust care plans as needed to ensure that all intervention strategies are effective and leading towards desired outcomes.

This role predominantly focuses on individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, post-operative recovery, and sports-related ailments. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with a clean record and no disciplinary actions.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, specifically WebPT or similar.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience in developing customized exercise regimens aimed at enhancing patient mobility and strength.
• Familiarity with acute and chronic pain management strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside comprehensive benefits that include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education.
