Work Environment

This position is on-site, allowing for direct interaction with patients in a collaborative team environment. You will work closely with a nurturing team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to providing results-driven patient care. Our standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a work-life balance while meeting the growing demands of our patient base.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals, movement limitations, and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans employing various evidence-based techniques, ensuring progress towards recovery.
• Guide 2-3 patients per hour through therapeutic exercises and manual therapies aimed at restoring function and reducing discomfort.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, for accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment protocols, and outcomes.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and clinical progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best integrated care for our patients.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout the treatment process, cultivating a positive environment that enhances recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will actively participate in their rehabilitation process, helping them regain mobility and function after injury or surgery. We are dedicated to reducing patients' reliance on medication through effective physical therapy strategies, providing a natural and less invasive pathway to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in California, with no board actions or disciplinary records.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and solid experience in therapeutic exercises.
• Ability to effectively utilize EMR software, specifically WebPT, for patient documentation.
• A passion for patient care and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Expertise in developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Previous experience in a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment is appreciated but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
