Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our outpatient office in Huntington Beach, where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The working hours are designed to offer flexibility, allowing for a schedule of Monday through Friday or four ten-hour days, enabling you to balance personal commitments while being an integral part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to establish individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and conditions.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including both active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living training, prosthetic training, and gait and functional training.
• Educate patients and their families on their care plans, ensuring they understand the importance of adherence to therapy regimens for optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate quality care, sharing insights and progress updates to enhance each patient's treatment experience.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay abreast of the latest practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a varied patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals undergoing post-surgical rehabilitation, and seniors managing chronic conditions. Your role as a Physical Therapist will involve creating and adjusting treatment plans based on continuous patient assessments, aiming to enhance their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university, or its foreign equivalent.
• Current California State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in orthopedics, is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and documentation practices.
• Continuing education in physical therapy techniques and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time Physical Therapist role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, not including potential bonuses or additional monetary benefits. Compensation reflects your experience level and contributions to the team.
