Personal Injury Trial Attorney Requirements & Qualifications Juris Doctor and active admission to the New York Bar . Demonstrated personal injury litigation and trial experience. Experience managing a broad range of plaintiff-side personal injury matters. Strong courtroom, deposition, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Ability to independently handle a high-volume litigation caseload. Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities. Team-focused mentality with strong interpersonal skills. Desire to work in a collaborative, in-office environment. Personal Injury Trial Attorney Preferred Background & Skills Experience handling multiple types of plaintiff-side personal injury cases, not limited to a single niche. Strong client communication abilities. Comfortable collaborating closely with colleagues in a supportive setting. Personal Injury Trial Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities Manage personal injury cases from inception through trial or resolution. Handle a diverse caseload including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, product liability, nursing home negligence, defective pharmaceuticals/medical devices, wrongful death, and other catastrophic injuries. Take and defend depositions. Conduct mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and appellate documents as needed. Work directly with clients throughout all phases of litigation. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff. Develop litigation strategies and advocate vigorously for clients.
