Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing targeted assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in the goal-setting process.
• Implement treatment protocols with proficiency based on assessment findings, patient presentations, and current healthcare standards.

• Document all patient care activities comprehensively and accurately, maintaining clear records of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you'll be working with encompass a diverse range of conditions requiring both rehabilitation and preventive care. Your role will encompass identifying patient needs and developing personalized treatment strategies that integrate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and education on injury prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia is mandatory.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
