Business Development Representative

Business Development Representative We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to drive new business growth by identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities. This position is responsible for expanding our customer base by selling communications hardware, equipment repair services, and EF&I services to telecommunications carriers, cable operators, utilities, contractors, and enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
Build relationships with purchasing managers, engineers, project managers, and executive decision-makers.
Generate opportunities for communications hardware, equipment repair services, and EF&I services.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and customer presentations.
Maintain an active pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities.
Work closely with internal departments to develop customer solutions.
Meet or exceed sales goals and business development metrics.
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales activity.
Stay informed on telecommunications technologies, products, and market trends.

Qualifications

Regular onsite attendance in our Ventura, California office (In-Office; Remote work is not available).
Travel: Occasional travel (10–20%) required for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Minimum 2+ years of business development or outside/inside sales experience.
Proven success generating new business through prospecting.
Previous experience navigating CRM software (plus).
Experience selling to carriers, cable providers, utilities, or enterprise customers within the telecommunications, technology, or infrastructure industry (plus).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently learn and communicate technical products to engineers, purchasing, and operations personnel.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, paired with a self-motivated and competitive drive to succeed.
