Work Environment\n

This role is predominantly remote, allowing for a flexible work environment while collaborating closely with a diverse team of mental health professionals. Our outpatient office setting provides a structured framework for your therapeutic work, while the remote setup allows for efficient and effective communication with patients and team members alike. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a predictable work routine.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address specific mental health challenges.

• Engage actively with trauma patients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate their recovery and emotional management.

• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on coping mechanisms related to stress and trauma, fostering resilience and empowering them in their recovery journeys.

• Coordinate with external social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to ensure patients receive holistic care and the services they need.

• Participate in internal training and continuing education programs to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and stay updated on emerging practices and therapies.

• Leverage technology and tools such as Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to document patient interactions and track care progress efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on patients who have experienced trauma, which can manifest in various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional disturbances. You will be integral in creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment for individuals to express their concerns and work towards mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating an understanding of the complexities of trauma recovery.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with Salesforce and EMR is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
