Make a difference in the lives of students by taking on a full-time role working with 3rd–5th graders for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Special Education Teacher dedicated to providing personalized instruction and meaningful support to students with significant cognitive, developmental, and/or behavioral needs. The position utilizes a push-in and pull-out model, offering a variety of ways to reach and guide learners toward success.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Michigan teaching certification with a special education endorsement
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in elementary settings
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction in accordance with IEPs
• Assist with academic, behavioral, and social development by modifying lessons and classroom environments
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and ongoing communication with families
• Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere that values each child’s abilities
