Work Environment\n

This position is designed to take place within an outpatient setting, offering the unique opportunity to work remotely while serving clients through telehealth platforms. Regular hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the needs of our clientele. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain an in-depth understanding of each patient's life experience, ultimately informing the treatment planning process.

• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the unique needs and backgrounds of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a variety of mental health concerns in an inclusive manner to help clients achieve resilience and well-being.

• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure patients receive well-rounded and comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques to stabilize clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and resources within our community to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through ongoing cultural competency training and professional development efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This may encompass ethnic and cultural minorities, the LGBTQ+ community, as well as immigrants seeking mental health support. Your role will be critical in fostering a trusting environment where these clients feel empowered to share their experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in Texas.

• A solid understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic practice.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy utilizing inclusive and culturally responsive approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, complemented by effective communication and interpersonal skills helpful in building rapport with diverse clients.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and patient management.

• A commitment to professional integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
