Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive professional counseling services, addressing mental health challenges, emotional wellbeing, and personal development for clients.

• Utilize personal and agency vehicles when necessary to facilitate client transportation to vital appointments and community resources.

• Ensure adherence to the highest standards of care, delivering services that promote measurable progress toward defined client goals while maintaining a high client satisfaction rate.

• Compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of program certifications and licensing obligations.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including client records, treatment notes, and mileage reports, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards.

• Teach daily living skills, assisting clients in meal planning, shopping, and cooking to promote independence and long-term wellbeing.

• Monitor client mood and overall wellbeing, implementing safety protocols and acting as a positive role model within the agency.

• Assist clients in medication management, ensuring adherence to prescriptions and proper storage.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a diverse and multicultural client base, each presenting unique challenges and backgrounds. Counselors must be adept at managing various mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to more complex conditions requiring nuanced interventions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT. Note: Associate-level licenses are not billable through Medicare and will not be considered at this time.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, for effective documentation and communication.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a manageable caseload and flexible client interactions.

• Self-directed and capable of working autonomously while being a proactive team member.

Preferred Experience\n
