An established Southern law firm is looking to add a Litigation Staff Attorney to their Nashville office! For this role, the firm is seeking a candidate admitted to the Tennessee Bar with tort experience. This position has no billable hours and supervisory duties! salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Doctoral

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and trial prep materials.
• Regularly represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, hearings, oral arguments, and trials (second chair) 
• Conduct and defend depositions of fact witnesses, expert witnesses, and corporate representatives.
• Provide strategic legal counsel, maintain ongoing communication with clients, and handle legal reporting for risk management and insurance carriers.
• Travel as needed for hearings, depositions, and court proceedings within the state of Tennessee.
