Adecco is currently assisting our client in recruiting for an Area Specialist role in Pomona, CA . This is a 4-month contract assignment with the potential to extend long term based on business needs and performance. This is a fully onsite position, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM .
Pay Rate: $41–$46 per hour
Position Overview
The Area Specialist provides administrative and operational support across multiple customer center locations. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting financial activities, maintaining compliance, and assisting with HR and facility-related functions.
Key Responsibilities
Support cash flow activities including:
Resolving disputed invoices
Processing portal invoices
Managing credit memos
Reconciling cash and credit card transactions
Assisting with credit decisions
Coordinate new customer and vendor account setup and updates
Ensure compliance with GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) processes
Manage indirect purchasing (office supplies, equipment, facility needs)
Handle office administrative duties including phones, mail, and filing
Complete customer/contractor documentation and request Certificates of Insurance
Coordinate training schedules and employee engagement events
Partner with service teams on facility maintenance and EHS compliance
Collaborate with Finance on reporting and data management
Monitor policy compliance and resolve discrepancies
Support leadership with reporting, projects, and ad hoc requests
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field — or equivalent experience
Strong financial acumen, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce, SAP, ERP, or similar systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, team-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to analyze data and support operational decision-making
