Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients. This includes developing effective pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans as required.

• Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation in adherence to regulatory standards, facilitating continuity of care and compliance with state and federal requirements.

• Employ evidence-based screening tools as recommended by the clinical team, utilizing best practices to drive effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans, ensuring alignment with individual treatment goals.

• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high standards of care and compliance with local and state regulations.

• Serve as a primary contact for relevant service systems, state agencies, community partners, and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication to promote integrated care.

• Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, and private organizations to foster collaboration and identify funding opportunities.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending conferences, workshops, and representing the agency at various forums relevant to mental health practice.

• Assist in other tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director, ensuring seamless operations and patient care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role requires the counselor to work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing emotional health challenges, those on recovery paths from substance use, and clients with developmental or acquired brain disabilities. Qualifications\n
