Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support high-volume invoice processing and vendor payment activities. This contract-to-hire role offers an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced accounting team with potential for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and code high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
- Prepare and assist with weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments.
- Review invoice discrepancies and work with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper records of invoices and payment documentation.
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items.
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting as needed.
- Support audits by providing documentation and reconciliation support.
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
