Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will undertake a range of critical functions, including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand patient histories and needs.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with the therapeutic goals of each client.

• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's circumstances.

• Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams and consulting with colleagues to ensure cohesive treatment strategies.

• Documenting treatment progress and maintaining accurate and timely clinical notes in accordance with medical records policies.

• Advocating for patients by connecting them with community resources and support services.

• Engaging in disposition planning to ensure continuity of care for patients at the conclusion of therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult and geriatric populations, with a potential expansion to include children and adolescents in the near future. This includes working with patients facing diverse challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. By delivering compassionate therapy, you will help clients navigate their struggles, contributing to their overall mental health and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must hold the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of various theoretical and clinical models relevant to therapy.

• A proven ability to establish effective therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
\n
• Experience in writing clear and precise clinical notes and treatment summaries.

• In-depth knowledge of social work ethics and the ability to apply them in practice.

• Competence in performing mental status exams and recognizing changes in mental health conditions.

Preferred Experience\n

A background in community mental health services or outpatient settings is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to maintain organized and complete patient files will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Experience liaising with community agencies to support patient advocacy is also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

In recognition of your skills and contributions, the salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 yearly, commensurate with your education and experience. Additional benefits include:
