Accounting Assistant (A/P & A/R)
Hialeah, FL 33016 | Contract to Hire | $20-$23 per hour DOE
Join a growing company in the consumer products and distribution industry that is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and payments
- Generate customer invoices and apply payments
- Assist with collections and account follow-up
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and spreadsheets
- Support month-end close and reporting activities
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of A/P, A/R, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
