Senior Product Manager, Reporting & Insights

Role Description

This is an exciting time to join Remote and shape the future of reporting and insights as the Senior Product Manager, Reporting & Insights.

Your mission: enable customers and internal teams to answer critical workforce, payroll, finance, and compliance questions with confidence through trusted, well-designed reporting and insights experiences.

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, GTM, Sales, Customer Success, Security, Legal, and Operations.
• Bring customer judgment, technical depth, and product craft needed to build accurate, scalable, and easy-to-use reporting.
• Report to a Senior Group Product Manager and collaborate daily with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Senior-Level Experience: Track record as a Product Manager with a strong focus on reporting, analytics, data platforms, workflow, or insights products.
• Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code (Required): Ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code and prototypes.
• Data Understanding & Fluency (Required): Strong end-to-end data literacy across models/schemas, lineage, and report generation.
• Customer Focus: Deep empathy for customers and a strong sense of what matters most in their day-to-day workflows.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to align cross-functional stakeholders and navigate trade-offs.
• Strong UX Sensibilities: Passion for effortless experiences in complex data, reporting, and insights workflows.
• Outstanding Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Language: Business-level proficiency writing and speaking English.
• Domain Expertise (nice to have): Experience with HR Tech, payroll, finance, compliance, or B2B SaaS products.

Requirements

• Set the reporting and insights strategy: Define the vision and roadmap for a multi-surface reporting system.
• Deeply understand customer reporting needs: Build empathy for various personas and translate workflows into product priorities.
• Build trusted reporting foundations: Own payroll-grade reporting capabilities including standard reports and configurable report building.
• Develop intelligent insights experiences: Identify where AI and proactive recommendations can help users.
• Deliver through strong cross-functional execution: Partner with various teams to turn customer needs into scalable reporting solutions.
• Measure and improve impact: Establish KPIs and continuously use feedback to improve the product.
