Business Development Director | Workplace Design & Build Austin $180k - $200k+ commission and strong benefits package I’m working with an established UK workplace Design & Build company that is making a serious push into the US market. They already have a strong reputation across the UK and EMEA, delivering high-quality commercial office fit-out projects for major clients. The US represents a major growth opportunity for the business, and they are investing in experienced senior professionals who understand what it takes to successfully build a new market. This is a genuine opportunity to get in at the ground floor of their US growth and play a key part in building the brand, network and pipeline. The Role They are looking for a Business Development Director who is already well connected within the commercial office and workplace market. You’ll be based around Austin with the opportunity to develop relationships and win work across the US. Your focus will be on building relationships and generating opportunities through your existing network, particularly with: Client-Side Project Managers Workplace and property decision-makers This is a proper business development role for someone who can originate opportunities rather than simply manage inbound leads. You’ll be expected to understand the client, qualify opportunities and work closely with the wider design, pre-construction and delivery teams to turn relationships into live projects. You won’t be building this alone. You’ll work alongside experienced senior professionals who understand the market and know that successful expansion comes from strong relationships, reputation and delivering properly once the work is won. What They’re Looking For You’ll ideally already be working within commercial office fit-out, workplace Design & Build or a closely related sector, with an established network across the US commercial property market. They want someone who is comfortable opening doors, developing long-term relationships and representing the business at a senior level.
