Job Description

Job Title: Gastroenterologist
Location: Bellingham, Washington
Schedule: 10:00PM - 6:30AM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $398 - $429/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Gastroenterologist for a temporary assignment in Bellingham, Washington. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Gastroenterologist:
• Provide Gastroenterology (GI) services as an MD/DO in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform rounding, admissions, and procedures as required
• Manage approximately 4 patients per day in the morning when on call Monday through Friday
• Provide 4 hours of gratis coverage for call as needed
• Work collaboratively with other GI physicians as part of the practice team
• Obtain and maintain an active medical license prior to start date if not currently licensed
• Obtain and maintain Board Certification and any other certifications required by the Medical Staff Office (MSO)
• Utilize Epic EMR system for all clinical documentation
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation upon start
• Adhere to COVID-19 vaccination requirements with no exemptions
• Maintain a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Gastroenterology
• Comply with all credentialing and privileging requirements, including standard and temporary privileges as applicable
