Assistant to Office Manager

With three manufacturing locations and one distribution center, the company focuses on delivering quality products with significant cost savings. Role Description The Assistant to Office Manager is a part‑time, on‑site role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. This role supports daily office operations, including managing front desk activities, answering and directing phone calls, and handling mail and deliveries. The assistant helps with filing, data entry, document preparation, and maintaining organized records for various departments. Responsibilities also include scheduling meetings, coordinating office supplies, and assisting the Office Manager with executive‑level administrative tasks as needed. The role requires consistent, professional communication with internal teams, vendors, and visitors, while maintaining confidentiality and accurate documentation. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills for supporting office management and leadership. Candidates should possess solid Clerical Skills, including filing, data entry, document handling, and record maintenance. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with staff, vendors, and visitors. Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette skills for managing calls, messages, and reception duties. Relevant experience in an office or administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets) and basic computer literacy. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
