Payroll Assistant
Our client, a large municipal health care system company, is looking for a Payroll Assistant for their New York, NY location. Responsibilities include processing payroll for hourly and salaried employees, providing assistance in entering and paying all wage garnishments, processing property payroll transfer reports, and ensuring benefits deductions are accurate. Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and maintain data integrity. Provide support to leadership team for various other accounting related projects.
Requirements include 1 year experience, 2 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 years with a Highschool diploma. High School Diploma/GED required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), QuickBooks and Pay Choice or Payroll Associates experience preferred. Languages: English Read Write Speak. Skills include payroll processing, wage garnishment processing, property payroll transfer reporting, benefits deduction accuracy, auditing, Outlook, data integrity maintenance, and Microsoft office.
