Luminous Curve MedSpa is seeking a skilled and passionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology to join our dedicated team in El Paso, Texas. This full-time onsite role offers an annual salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 150,000. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Nursing and have at least 2 years of relevant experience, specifically in medical and surgical dermatology, to enhance patient care in our vibrant practice.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our El Paso MedSpa, featuring a welcoming atmosphere designed to promote both patient comfort and staff collaboration. The clinic is designed for efficiency, equipped with the latest electronic medical record (EMR) systems to facilitate streamlined documentation and patient management. As a member of our dedicated team, you will work closely with dermatology specialists and other healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and detailed assessments of dermatology patients.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests to evaluate patients' clinical problems related to skin health.
• Effectively prescribe suitable medications and treatments for a range of dermatological conditions.
• Deliver comprehensive patient education regarding skin care practices, prevention strategies, and treatment options for common skin diseases.
• Referring patients to appropriate specialists for further evaluation or treatment when necessary.
• Meticulously document all patient interactions and care plans within our electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate seamlessly with advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will serve a diverse patient population, ranging from young children to elderly individuals, all seeking solutions for various skin concerns including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and cosmetic dermatology. This role emphasizes personalized care, leveraging a holistic approach tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) specializing in dermatology or a related area.
• A valid Nurse Practitioner license in any state, with a commitment to maintaining all relevant certifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Medical Dermatology, demonstrating a strong clinical acumen.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient engagement and team collaboration.
• Ability to work autonomously while also functioning as an integral member of a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in EMR systems for accurate documentation and effective patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in performing dermatologic surgical procedures, with skills in complex closures, flaps, and tissue transfers.
• Previous involvement in settings that emphasize patient education and evidence-based skin health practices.

Compensation and Benefits
