Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to understand their unique situations and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific needs.

• Provide individual counseling sessions, as well as couple and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients achieve their goals.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of each client session, ensuring that progress notes are completed timely and accurately within our electronic health record system.

• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to facilitate comprehensive care for your clients.

• Uphold strict confidentiality of client information, adhering to all ethical and legal standards to create a safe therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, presenting a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your skills will contribute to improving mental wellness and resilience as you guide clients through their individual crises and transitions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Must possess active state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services in a relevant setting is essential.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

• Proficiency in delivering counseling services through virtual platforms, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in crisis intervention and managing acute psychological distress.

• Familiarity with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other applicable therapeutic modalities.

• Previous involvement in developing and implementing group therapy programs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
