Residential Property Manager

Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience in property management)3–5+ years of residential property management experience, preferably in NYCStrong knowledge of NYC housing regulations (HPD, DOB, rent stabilization/market-rate practices)Experience with property management systems (MRI preferred)Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple properties and priorities in a fast-paced environmentKey ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations of assigned residential properties, including legal , tenant relations, and vendor coordinationServe as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and ensuring timely resolution of issuesCoordinate with superintendents, porters, and third-party vendors to maintain building conditions and complete repairsEnsure compliance with NYC regulations, including HPD, DOB, and other agency requirementsMonitor rent collections and arrears; coordinate with legal counsel on nonpayment or holdover proceedingsConduct regular property inspections and implement corrective action as neededManage and track work orders and maintenance requests to ensure timely completionAssist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting in coordination with internal teamsSupport capital improvement projects and ensure proper execution and documentationMaintain accurate property records, tenant files, and reporting within MRI or related systemsPreferred SkillsExperience managing mixed portfolios (walk-ups, multifamily)Familiarity with legal processes related to housing court and tenant disputesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience)Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planPaid time off and holidaysFull timePosting Date: 2026-06-25
