This position is structured as a remote role, allowing you to work flexible hours while being an integral part of our school-based mental health project. Our typical work schedule spans Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts or rotating weekends to guarantee comprehensive mental health service coverage as necessary. Some on-call availability may be required to address urgent mental health situations swiftly.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, taking into account their unique backgrounds, individual concerns, and relevant risk factors.

• Collaborate with students to formulate tailored treatment plans addressing specific mental health challenges, facilitating their emotional growth and social integration within the school community.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed interventions to manage a variety of mental health issues.

• Work in tandem with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—such as psychiatrists and psychologists—to ensure a holistic treatment approach that meets the interconnected needs of our students.

• Deliver crisis interventions effectively during high-stress situations, employing de-escalation strategies and making timely referrals for acute care when necessary.
