The Psychological Well-being Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while being embedded in an outpatient office environment located in Joliet, Illinois. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct assessments and therapy sessions with couples and families, leading to improved communication and resolution of interpersonal conflicts.

• Develop tailored treatment plans addressing various issues, including but not limited to, alcohol abuse, grief, relationship complexities, and challenges posed by blended families.

• Facilitate individual sessions for family members to ensure comprehensive engagement and healing.
\n
• Utilize therapeutic methodologies and evidence-based practices to effectively respond to client needs.
\n
• Monitor client progress and adapt therapy techniques to ensure the best patient outcome.

• Document clients’ progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

• Participate in ongoing training and development activities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with industry trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including couples, families, and individuals of various backgrounds. You will address issues such as:

• Substance abuse.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts among family members.
\n
• Adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.
\n
• Grief and loss.
\n
• Challenges faced by blended families, including remarriage dilemmas.

• Communication barriers and problems.

Qualifications\n

To be a successful candidate, you must possess the following credentials:

• A valid and active LMFT state license.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering therapeutic services, particularly within family and couples contexts.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
